RUJAK KHAS ACEH
Do you know that Aceh also famous with its Rujak? Rujak also known as rojak in Malaysia and Singapore. Unlike the common rujak, you will not find petis in Rujak Aceh. However, Rujak Aceh use buah kawista (Limonia Acidissima) and buah rumbia (Sago Palm) to get the sour taste and astringent chelate.
As a complement of sour taste, they mix it with Mangga Kweni (mango). Unlike the usual rujak, the peanuts are not finely ground. However, the whole peanuts served as Rujak Aceh’s topping.
